Where are Adler Axes made?
All Adler products are made in Waghausel, Germany and feature a JSW mark.
All blades on Adler Axes are forged from high-quality steel that is sourced from Europe.
What features do Adler Axes have?
The head of an Adler Axe is forged from European C45 steel. The head is then mounted so that it distributes an even pressure on the handle.
The handle of an Adler Axe is made of hickory wood. Hickory is a stable, shock-aborbant wood that allows for comfortable use.

How do you maintain an Adler Axe?
After a session with your Alder Axe, apply oil to the axe head and then store it in a dry and cool area.
To sharpen an Alder Axe, use a puck or grinding stone to hand sharpen. Don’t use an electric grinding wheel because this will heat up the edge when it sharpens.
