KATANABOY 1000mm

The KATANABOY 1000mm is the world's longest folding saw. Its 1,000 mm blade lets it cut through logs and tree trunks up to 50 cm in diameter, giving it the reach to rival a chainsaw without the oil, gas, noise, or bulk. Despite its size, the saw weighs only around 2.4 kg, so it's still manageable to carry into the field.
The blade uses a progressive tooth design, running from 5 teeth per 30 mm near the handle to 2.5 teeth per 30 mm at the tip. The finer teeth near the handle make starting a cut easier and more controlled, while the coarser teeth toward the tip clear material fast once the cut is underway. Impulse-hardened, tri-edge teeth cut confidently through wet, dry, rotten, and hardwood alike. A locking safety system secures the blade before it folds fully into the handle, and the saw's special Gom rubber handle, patented by Silky, reduces vibration and keeps grip secure through long, two-handed strokes.
The KATANABOY 1000mm comes with a canvas carrying case for transport and storage, and is made in Japan.
