Pole Pruner Heads and Adapters

Fred Marvin's pole pruner heads are designed to efficiently cut limbs up to 1 3/4" in diameter. The pruner heads feature a round casting, making them easy to mount on fiberglass or octagonal wood poles, and typically include a single pulley. The PH4 pruner head offers a 1 1/4" cut capacity, while the PH5 ("The Bull") provides a larger 1 3/4" cut capacity. Marvin's Quick Change models, such as the QCP and QCP5, feature a button press quick-change system for easy attachment to extension poles. The QCB model is similar to the QCP5 but includes an additional pulley for increased leverage and comes with 15 feet of 3/8" rope. All parts are replaceable, ensuring longevity and adaptability.

Fiberglass Poles

Fred Marvin offers a range of fiberglass poles designed for durability and versatility. The Professional Series (orange) includes hollow fiberglass poles available in 4', 6', and 8' lengths, such as 4FB, 6FB, 6FH, 8FH, 4FM, 6FM, and 8FM. These are base poles (with rubber base and female ferrule), mid pole extensions (with male and female ferrules), and head poles (with male ferrules and rope anchors).

The Ultra-Lite Series (blue) poles are engineered with a mesh undercoating, making them 20% lighter than the Professional Series while maintaining a crush strength of 507 lbs per half foot. Examples include the 6FB-UL and 6FM-UL models.

The Telescopic Series (yellow) includes the 12T model, a 12' telescoping base pole with a female ferrule and a rubber end cap, and the 12TB, which has a dual locking collar and rope anchor instead of a female coupling.

Pruner packages

The PKG-9 pole pruner package includes two 6' fiberglass poles (head and base), a PH4 pruner head, a 14" curved saw blade attachment, and pruner rope.

The PKG-15B quick-change package has two 6' aluminum poles (head and base), two quick-change heads (pruner blade and high-performance saw blade), pruner rope, and a protective sheath for the saw. PKG-23B includes two 6' fiberglass poles (base and mid), two quick-change heads (pruner blade and tri-edge saw), and pruner rope.

The PKG-25 telescopic pruner package comes with a 12' telescopic pole, a PH2 swivel pulley pruner head, and pruner rope.
